The 2026 LCK regular season Rounds 1~2 came to a close on the 30th of last month after nine weeks. Hanwha Life Esports defeated Hanjin Brion 2-0 to edge out T1 and Gen.G for 1st place. Hanwha Life finished at 15 wins and 3 losses. Hanwha Life halted KT Rolster, which had been perfect through Round 1 and stood alone in first in Week 6, and held off late-charging T1 and Gen.G to take top spot and also locked in direct entry to Round 3 of the LCK MSI representative qualifiers. T1, which battled in the standings to the end, closed Week 9 on a two-match winning streak to secure second overall. T1 matched Gen.G at 14 wins and 4 losses but finished second by one game in set differential. As a result, Hanwha Life and T1 advanced directly to the No. 1 seed decider in Round 3 of the LCK MSI representative qualifiers, to be held on the 12th at Wonju DB Promy Arena.
